I have been thrifting and upcyling clothing for several years. In June 2019, I found the ideal space to use as both a design studio and shopping lounge.
The artistic process of clothing design is gratifying in and of itself; however, I am equally passionate about sustainability in fashion. I rely on thrifted items only when designing my clothing.
Each part of the design process comes from my inspiration and labor. I combine a minimalist silhouette with urban aesthetics and street style. I select, design and craft each article of clothing. Nearly all of my garments are softened by hand. They are made to be worn for comfort as well as style.
In addition to being a clothing designer, I am a mixed media painter. The inspiration for my clothing label came from one of my paintings. Just as a painting cannot be duplicated, each article of clothing is one of a kind.
I have integrated vintage clothing into my collection because it resonates with my passion for sustainable fashion and pairs perfectly with streetwear. I have taken equal care to increase the comfort of these garments.
I highly recommend washing all garments in cold water (preferably by hand) and hanging them to dry. Doing so greatly reduces negative environmental impact by conserving both water and energy. It also maintains the softness of the fabric and adds to the longevity of wear.
